Attachment to another can be painful.

Often, without being fully aware, we are invested in the outcome of another’s choices because we are seeking to rescue that very part of ourselves.

We often insist on trying to steer an outcome while clinging to the familiar scenery, when the way forward requires us to paint in colors that are only revealed through detachment.

Through these investments with others, our lines blur as we lose our sense of self in a longing to be accepted or feel secure.

Connection with another through a subconscious or conscious need to heal ourselves, breeds imbalance and codependency.

In our union with the divine, we are detached via the vein of divine love, which fertilizes the interconnectedness of all souls and supports individual freedom. Here, we recognize our one-ness in oneness.

We are complete without another, without recognition, without affection, and without encouragement.

The fountain of life is within you; it is the flowing river possessing every necessary drop that makes you whole. All that was needed was you, to see you, in you.

Unity is found in the glow of what our humanness perceives as separation.

In our union with the divine, we are one with another.
